Introduction to 12 Lead ECG Interpretation Course

Learning Outcomes/course outline

AHA's 12 Lead ECG Interpretation Course will provide participants with the chance to develop their understanding of cardiovascular pathophysiology and the associated electrocardiograph findings that underpin systematic Electrocardiogram (ECG) interpretation. Students will gain confidence through the development of knowledge relating to cardiac physiology, the principles of electrocardiography and the criteria associated with conditions commonly observed on the ECG. AHA is pleased to provide the option of either a beginner or an advanced curriculum for this course. The advanced stream is recommended for nurses working or wanting to work within a critical care area such as emergency or ICU. 

CPD: 7.5 points

Duration of course

This interpretive ECG course is provided over one day in our training facility. 

Exam/assessments 

Theoretical and practical assessment will be carried out at the end of the course.
