Learning Outcomes/course outline
AHA's 12 Lead ECG Interpretation Course will provide participants with the chance to develop their understanding of cardiovascular pathophysiology and the associated electrocardiograph findings that underpin systematic Electrocardiogram (ECG) interpretation. Students will gain confidence through the development of knowledge relating to cardiac physiology, the principles of electrocardiography and the criteria associated with conditions commonly observed on the ECG. AHA is pleased to provide a basic program with the option to add on an advanced module at a later date if you so choose . The basic program is great for nurses working in any environment, especially medical clinics, medical/surgical wards, or outpatient clinics. The advanced stream is an add on to the beginner program and is recommended for nurses working or wanting to work within a critical care area such as emergency or ICU.
